Served in the 713th Armored Flame Thrower Tanks. First tanks in Pacific to be modified in this way. He served in the Service Company and rose to a rank of T/5. Landed in Okinawa in the spring of 1945. At the end of WWII, he served 3 months in Korea. He headed home Jan. 31, 1946. He lived at 4522 Reighmoor Rd while in Omro #1152 |
