Mary Ellen, his sister writes:  "We have been to the Memorial in Omro while were there in May - June 2007. It is truly a handsome structure. It bears the names of so many people I knew while growing up in Omro. It must be a source of pride & appreciation. We have also been to the memorial in San Diego where Earl Edminister's name is placed. We have some home movies of Chuck (as he was called by family and friends) marching in the Army band. We have found Chuck's OHS yearbook from 1935 / "Launching to Conquer". So many familiar family names."
