Notes: Bob enlisted in 1943 and served in Germany. I think he was in the Airborne Infantry and probably served two tours of duty, writes his sister, Mrs. John Mueller. He married a German civilian and lived in Omro and Fond du Lac areas after discharge. He served in the 104th "Timberwolf" Div. He was wounded in action, awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
